Payment links

Share a fixed-price payment without building a checkout.

A payment link opens the same hosted checkout and payment lifecycle as any other payment. Opening or sharing a link never moves money.

  1. Create once

    POST /v1/payment_links with an idempotency key, amount, currency, description, and an optional single-use or expiry limit.

  2. Share the link

    Share the returned url, share_url, or continuation code. When a payer opens it, a checkout session is created; fulfill only after the payment succeeds.

  3. Turn it off

    POST to the link's /deactivate endpoint to stop new payments. A payment already in progress still completes normally.

Payment links are hosted-only.

Open them in a browser. Do not pass a payment link ID, share URL, or continuation code to PerionPayments.js; the drop-in accepts only a checkout session client_secret created for your site's origin.
