Continuation

A checkout or payment link can show a short code that takes the payer back to the same payment, offline or on another device. Using the code does not create or confirm a payment.

   Show the code

   Show the returned continuation code next to the link, so the payer can switch devices or pick up again after losing their connection.

   Claim, then resume

   POST /public/v1/continuations/claim, then use the returned target to reopen the existing link or checkout. Never create a new payment intent because a browser closed.

   Offer available channels

   Offer only the continuation and notification channels the API returns as available for the account and environment.
